On February 27, 2024, the TSU Faculty of Law held a meeting with representatives of the Max Weber Foundation (MWS).
Deputy Dean of the TSU Faculty of Law, Associate Professor Giorgi Dgebuadze introduced the activities of the Faculty and the upcoming events to the Foundation’s representatives. The discussion also emphasized the development of scientific research activities.
PD Dr. Andreas Hilger, head of the MWS Georgia Branch office, provided information about the activities of the foundation to the academic staff of the TSU Faculty of Law; Additionally, discussions encompassed the implementation of short-term exchange projects for both researchers and students, and joint educational activities such as lectures or workshops.
During the meeting, future directions of cooperation were planned between the parties, as well as the signing of a memorandum, which will significantly contribute to the scientific activity of the Faculty of Law and its internationalization.
The meeting was attended by Professor Paata Turava, Assistant Professor Mariam Khoperia, Assistant Professor Sulkhan Oniani, invited lecturer, PhD Candidate of law Marika Turava, University of Cologne and TSU Joint Master's Program "LL.M. Köln" coordinator Martin Piazena, chief specialist of the dean's office Rusudan Tsagareli.
